US lawmakers to visit Denmark as Trump continues to threaten Greenland

SUMMARY: A bipartisan U.S. congressional delegation is headed to Copenhagen later this week to show unity with Denmark amid tensions over Greenland. Sen. Chris Coons is leading the trip, which includes at least nine members of Congress. They plan to meet with Danish and Greenlandic officials on Friday and Saturday. Coons emphasized the importance of the U.S.-Denmark alliance, especially after recent statements by President Trump about acquiring Greenland. Tensions have grown as Trump suggests taking Greenland to prevent Russian or Chinese control. Danish and Greenlandic leaders insist Greenland's future must be decided by its people.

US--Election 2026-Redistricting-What to Know

What to know about the state gerrymandering battle kick-started by Trump

SUMMARY: President Donald Trump's plan to reshape congressional voting districts for partisan advantage stands at a critical point. Trump is hoping that more Republican-friendly districts can help the party retain control of the House in this year's elections. Several Republican-led states already have enacted new districts. But so has Democratic-led California. Democrats in Virginia could be the next to act on redistricting during a legislative session that begins Wednesday. Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis plans to call a special session on redistricting in April. Resistance to redistricting remains in several states, including among Republicans in Kansas and Democrats in Illinois and Maryland.

Sirius said Cuomo will host a two-hour weekday show on Sirius starting at 7 a.m. Eastern, where he'll interview guests and take listener calls. Cuomo worked at Sirius earlier, but quit in 2021 shortly after he was fired from his prime-time CNN show after details emerged about how the journalist helped his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, fight sexual harassment allegations. Cuomo has reemerged on television with an evening talk show on the cable network NewsNation.

US--Mullet Contest

'Joe Dirt' tribute takes top prize in Pennsylvania Farm Show mullet contest

SUMMARY: A contest that celebrates the much-maligned but enduring mullet hairstyle brought thousands of spectators to a stage inside the Pennsylvania Farm Show. The short-in-the-front, long-in-the-back coiffure, once the province of Canadian hockey players and hair metal bands, drew competitors young and old on Monday for the day’s “mane” attraction. A 10-year-old won the top prize with his mullet and a costume that paid homage to David Spade's title character in “Joe Dirt." Contestants were evaluated for the style of their cut, any props or accessories, their presentation and their overall sense of commitment.

Seahawks begin preparing for 49ers after both coordinators interview for head coaching jobs

SUMMARY: Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and defensive coordinator Aden Durde have both interviewed for head coaching jobs with other teams. Seattle had a bye as the No. 1 seed in the NFC, which freed up Kubiak and Durde to be interviewed. Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald says it's a nonissue as his team prepares to host San Francisco on Saturday. He says last week's practices consisted mostly of self-scouting and working ahead on potential playoff opponents. Now, Seattle has turned its focus to the AFC West rival 49ers, who ended Philadelphia’s bid for a Super Bowl repeat with a 23-19 victory.
