Melissa M. Windsor

SALISBURY - Melissa Margaret Windsor died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Richard Hanson Wootten and Florence Amelia Mehl Wootten.
Prior to her various health issues, she was active in her community and in her church, Community Christian Church. She was a gifted writer who loved animals and playing the piano. She also enjoyed working on computers and with children. She previously had worked for the Wicomico County Board of Education and Boscov's Department Store.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ronnie Joe Windsor; a daughter, Jessica Marion Windsor of Salisbury; and a sister, Marian Wootten Unterman of Fairfax Station, Va.
A funeral service was held Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
