FRUITLAND - Megan Bernadette Harrison, also known as MaryEllen Darby died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018. Her parents were the late James Augustus Darby and Gladys Blanche Kelley Darby. She was a member of Calvary Chapel, First Baptist Church of Fruitland and Abba Worship Center. She enjoyed visiting and sharing the Gospel in the area nursing homes. She prayed for everyone she met. She is survived by her husband, David Harrison of Fruitland; daughters, Faith Fisher of Chance and Jessie Ward of Crisfield; stepchildren, George Simpson Jr. of Delaware and Carol Nicolson of Salisbury; and numerous grandchildren, great- and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James Darby Jr., Jack Darby; sisters, Thelma Shockley, Anna Doughty and Nettie Conaway; former husbands, James Corbett, Edward Davis, Mickey McGuire and George Simpson aka Kyle Kash; sons, James Corbett Jr., Edward Davis Jr., Ronald Simpson; and a daughter, Jackie Griffin. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
