EASTON - Mary Luetta Wilson devoted mother and grandmother departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at the House in the Pines in Easton, Md. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking for them each Sunday. She worked numerous jobs in Dorchester County, Bumble Bee and Airpax from which she retired. She was the daughter of the late Mildred Stanley Hooper and A.B. Bishop, born June 3, 1922 in Baltimore, Md. Her family moved to Taylors Island where she met and married William Norwood Wilson. From this union they had nine children, of which seven she is survived by daughters, Sylvia Anderson (Randall), Kathryn Wilson, Gloria Johnson (Billy), Constance Johnson (all of Cambridge), Lula Giles (Larry), Baltimore and Linda Tilghman (Jerome), Lewes, Del.; and one son, Wayne Wilson (Cambridge); a sister, Bernice Loretta Hooper (Hurlock); 14 grandchildren, Charles Wilson, Yolanda Marine, Nicole Cephas, Tyron Wilson and Ashley Tilghman (all of Cambridge), Palestine Elliott Jr., Audra Wright, Lewis Wilson, Linnea Swain and Lamar Giles (all of Baltimore), Jerome Tilghman (South Carolina), Jermaine Johnson (Georgia), Tyran Wilson (Florida) and Adrian Wilson (North Carolina); 28 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a devoted cousin, Sarah Irvin and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marion Wilson, grandson, Derrick Wilson, granddaughter, Donna Wilson and great granddaughter, Latia Wilson. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at St. Luke UM Church, 712 Bradley Ave., Cambridge, with a viewing Friday evening 6 to 8 p.m. at Henry Funeral Home PA, 510 Washington St., Cambridge.
