SECRETARY - Mary Elizabeth Bradley, of Secretary, died on May 25, 2009, at the Mallard Bay Center, Cambridge. She was 79. Born on June 21, 1929, in Washington, D.C., she was the son of the late Robert Roche and Frances C. Brown Roche. For 26 years, she worked for the Dorchester County Board of Education in the cafeterias at East New Market and Secretary Elementary Schools and retired from Warwick Elementary School as the Cafeteria Manager. She is survived by three sons, Roland W. Bradley and his wife Sherry of Secretary, Spencer Bradley of East New Market, Dwight L. Bradley and his wife Brenda of Vienna; one daughter, Frances O. Willey and her husband Randy of Vienna; two grandchildren, Jennifer Bradley and Jason Bradley; and one great-grandchild, Madison Horsman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wade Hampton Bradley who died on March 21, 2009; one great-granddaughter, Sydney Nicole Bramble; and two brothers, Edward and Robert Roche. Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, May 29, 2009, at the Zeller Funeral Home, East New Market. Mr. David Tolley will officiate. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the East New Market Cemetery. Dwight L. Bradley, Spencer Bradley, Jason Bradley, Randy Willey, Ryan Horsman, and Leroy "Tiny Jug" Abey will serve as pallbearers. Donations in memory of Mrs. Bradley may be made to the Secretary Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 56, Secretary, MD 21664; or to the Alzheimer's Association, Eastern Shore Office, 209C Milford St., Salisbury, MD 21804.
