SALISBURY - Mary Elizabeth Powell Nock died Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Worcester County, she was the daughter of the late George Edward Powell and Eva Mae Griffin Powell. She worked as a waitress for English Grill and Buddy Boy's, before retiring in late 1970s. She enjoyed socializing and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by eight brothers; and three sisters; a daughter, Imogene David; and a grandson. She is survived by two daughters, Victoria "Vicki" Cox of Tyaskin and Ruth Mae McCann of Salisbury; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
