Marian Delores 'Dee' Kundt, 81 GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. - Marian Delores "Dee" Kundt, of Green Valley, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2008, in hospice care at The Tucson Medical Center. She was 81. Born in Crisfield, Md., where she was the eldest of six siblings. Mrs. Kundt worked making Bazooka shells during World War II in a factory in Crisfield, Md. Following her graduation at Crisfield High School, Md., she moved to Silver Spring, Md., where she worked as an operator for C&P Telephone Company. There she met and married John Kundt and they traveled and lived many places. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Henry Landon and Mary White Landon; step-mother, Margaret Parks Landon; and step-siblings, Peggy Johnson of Marion Station, Md. and Sonny Parks, of Crisfield, Md. Mrs. Kundt is survived by her husband of sixty years, John Kundt, of Green Valley, Ariz.; daughter, Carol Kundt of Rio Rico, Ariz.; and son, Charles Kundt and his wife Seung-hee and grandchildren, Johnny Kundt and Laura Pepper of Morgan City, Ala. She is also survived by her siblings, Elestine "Teeny" Ennis of Quantico, Md., Mina Gunter of Salisbury, Md., Charles "Buffy" Landon of Crisfield, Md., Erma Price of Crisfield, Md., and Viva Vierling of Flint Hill, Va. A celebration of her life with family and friends will be held at a later date. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution would be welcomed to choose their favorite charity.
