Margaret M. Luber, 94
DELMAR - Margaret M. "Peggy" Luber died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Lester and Mary McSweeney Buckley.
She worked for many years at Bell Atlantic and Applied Physics Lab as a telephone operator, the National Security Agency as a computer programmer and in later years as a real estate agent. She was very active in the Business Professional Women's organization, the Red Hats, the Sweet Adelines and the Pythians. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Delmar, the Moose Lodge and the VFW.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Souder of Delmar, Bryan Souder of Cambridge and Timothy Souder of Richmond; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Payne of Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Luber; a daughter, Jeannie Howe; and a brother, Bill Buckley.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
