Margaret L. Collins, 85
Florida/Maryland - Margaret L. Collins of Florida and Maryland passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Washington, DC on December 15, 1936. She was the daughter of Edward and Thelma Payne. Peggy was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She LOVED to go shopping, having her nails done, doing word searches, and watching the Hallmark Movies.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bill Outten of Vienna, MD; and son, Nicky Calloway and Linda of Florida; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; and two step grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Patsy Collins; and a brother, Sterling Payne.
Besides her parents Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Collins; and a son, Ricky Calloway.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time for the family.
The family requests donations be made to the Eldorado Cemetery Fund. Donations can be sent to Brinsfield Lowe 5730 Lone Pine Rd Rhodesdale, MD 21659 or Frank Wilson 5812 Puckum Rd Rhodesdale, MD 21659.
As she did in life, Peggy continues to help people, with her decision to be a donor to the State Anatomy Board.
