DELMAR - Lori Anne Gillespie died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at her home after a courageous fight with brain cancer. Born in Oceanside, N.Y., she was a daughter of June R. Gillespie of Delmar and William K. Gillespie of Kingman, Ariz. She was a graduate of Wicomico Senior High School's Class of 1979 and worked over 35 years in quality control in the microwave and electronics industry. She is survived by her children, Lauren, Kyle, and Katelyn Donophan and Anna LeCompte; four grandchildren; her sisters, Patti L. Griffin, of Delmar and Tammi L. Hudson, of Laurel; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Burial was private.
