SALISBURY - Lois "Jean "White died at her home surrounded by her family on Apr. 10, 2017. Born in Salisbury, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Daisy Daisey. She was a volunteer at Peninsula regional Medical Center and a lifelong member at Redmen's Lodge in Fruitland.
She is survived by her five children, Elaine Hewett, Valerie Serman, Sandra Mowbray, Lisa Piercy and Bobbie-Sue Smith Hasson; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marian Friedel, her husband, John White Sr., her longtime companion, James Smith and a a son, Johnny White Jr.
A funeral service was held Friday, Apr. 14, 2017, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
