CAMBRIDGE - Lisa W. Smith, 43, died late Tuesday night, March 20, 2007 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury.

Born on May 10, 1963, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of Geraldine Wilson of East New Market, and the late Richard Butler.

Lisa was a graduate of T.A. Edison High School, Class of 1981, Springfield, Va.

On April 30, 1988, she married Allen Smith.

Lisa had worked as a secretary for Starlight Skylights, Hurlock.

She was an avid reader. She enjoyed movies, whimsical stories, animals and her cats.

Surviving besides her mother and husband is her stepmother, Janet Butler of Fairfax, Va.; stepfather Ray Wilson of East New Market; five siblings, Bonnie Wilson of Florida, Debbie Eveson of Jacksonville, Fla., Cindy Spurry of Cordova, Woody Wilson of Easton, Lynn Nolan of Centreville, Va.; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Patrick, Shirley, Shane, Stephanie, Dennis, Amanda, Sherry, Brent, Danielle, Dalton; and longtime friend, Fonda Nichols of Falls Church, Va.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Doug Ridley. Lisa donated her body to science for the advancement of anatomical study.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Neurofibromatosis Foundation, NF Mid Atlantic, 8855 Annapolis Road, Suite 110, Lanham, MD, 20706.
