Linda Ann Burt

SALISBURY - Linda Ann Burt died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Earl Shrieves and Annabelle Watson Shrieves.
She was a member of the Red Men/Pocahontas Ladies Auxiliary. After serving her country as a nurse in the U.S. Army, she worked as an office manager for D.W. Burt Concrete Construction. She also worked as a bus aide for the Wicomico County school board.
She is survived by three sons, Daniel Wayne Burt II of Salisbury, Michael Leonard Burt of Ocean City and David Thomas Burt of Salisbury; three grandchildren; and her companion, Fred Lawson of Eden.
A funeral service was held Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
