DELMAR - Lina Sophia Adabelle Mitchell Foskey died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018. Born in Delmar, she was a daughter of the late Ben and Grace Mitchell. She was a lifelong homemaker and member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland H. Foskey; sisters, Ruth Adkins, Joyce Meilhammer and Mabel Meilhammer; sons, Phillip Foskey and Victor Foskey; two infant children; and a daughter, Susan Warner. She is survived by her children, Phyllis Townsend of Willards, Carolyn Campbell of Berlin, John Foskey of Townsend, Marty Foskey of Delmar, Judy Elliott of Laurel, Mary Jane Horseman of Delmar and Roger Foskey of Seaford; her siblings, Herman Mitchell and Mary Lee Meilhammer; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Interment was at Melson's Cemetery in Delmar.
