SNOW HILL — Do you know what is fact or fiction in raising a backyard flock of birds? Join the University of Maryland Extension to learn the “bird basics” of small flock management and have your bird questions answered by poultry experts and specialists. Workshop topics to be discussed include brooding chicks, feeds and nutrition, flock management, egg production, protecting your flock, and Q & A session.
This is a free program set 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 at Berlin Tractor Supply Company, 10452 Old Ocean City Boulevard, Berlin. There will be door prizes of poultry items for your flock.
