HEBRON - Kenneth R. Linker died Feb. 8, 2015, at his home following a brief illness. Born Apr. 17, 1947, in Queens, N.Y., he was a son of Mary Lang Linker of Holbrook, N.Y., and the late Arthur C. Linker. He grew up on Long Island, N.Y. Following high school graduation, he joined the Army and served in Vietnam. After receiving an honorable discharge, he began a career with Grumman Aerospace, working on the Lunar Module and various military aircraft. His career lasted over 30 years and he recently retired from Labinal Power Systems. He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 45 years, Cindy Bobalik Linker; two children, Denise Linker and Scott D. Linker of Odenton, Md.; three grandchildren; a sister, Susan Sirkin of New Bern, N.C.; two brothers, Wayne Linker of New York, N.Y. and Keith Linker of Brookhaven Hamlet, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Feb. 13, at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
