SALISBURY - Karen Truitt died at home on Monday, Apr. 10, 2017. Born in Lansing, Mich., she was the daughter of the late W.J. and Olive Tillitson.
She moved to the Eastern Shore shortly after meeting her now husband on a high school graduation trip to Ocean City. She was deeply involved with Fruitland Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Allen Thomas Truitt; two sons, Bryce Allen Truitt and Jason Thomas Truitt; one grand-daughter; and a brother David Tillitson.
A memorial service was held Apr. 16, 2017, at Fruitland Christian Church.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
