SALISBURY - John Charles Stinebaugh died on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late William and Margaret Stinebaugh. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1947 aboard the USS Palau. He owned Stinebaugh Electric and later Stinebaugh Appliance Repair. He was a member of the Bethesda United Methodist Church as well as the Methodist Men. He is survived by a daughter, Sharon Perdue of Parsonsburg; a grandson; two great-granddaughters; a sister, Margaret Schafer; a brother, William Pfeifer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Lee Griffith Stinebaugh; two brothers, Harry Stinebaugh and William Stinebaugh; and two sisters, Lorraine Roil and Dorothy Eisenhower. A funeral service was held Monday, March 26, 2018, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was at Union Church Cemetery in Salisbury.
