BILLINGS, Mont. - Jessie Anita Jones passed away after a sudden heart attack on May 4, 2013 in Billings, Mont. Jessie was born on Sept. 15, 1951 to Hayward and Edith Jones in Cambridge, Md. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1969. She graduated from Salisbury State University in 1973 with a degree in English. In 2012, Jessie accomplished a lifelong goal of moving to the beautiful state of Montana. She settled in Lewistown and worked for Hi-Heat. She made many friends in Lewistown in the short time she lived there and it was a very happy time in her life. Jessie was a kind and gentle person. She loved to read and write but most of all she loved animals. Jessie is preceded in death by her parents, Edith and Hayward; and her brother, John Paul. She is survived by her brother, Bill and his wife Kate of Dixon, Calif.; four nieces; two great-nieces; and a number of cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jessie's name to the animal rescue organization of your choice.
