TRAPPE - James Walter Wilson, 74, passed away Friday, June 1, 2007 at the Genesis Elder Care (Pines) in Easton.

He was born July 11, 1932 in Oxford, son of the late Raymond Alexander Wilson Sr. and the late Clara Wilson.

Mr. Wilson, known as Buddy, attended the Talbot County Public Schools. He was employed at various jobs, a truck driver for Granville Wise and he worked for the Barkly. He was in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his daughter, Angie Wilson; four granddaughters, Shyedia Turner of Easton, Chaquntia Turner of Baltimore, Sheryall Turner of Easton and Javonda Turnder of Cambridge; 10 great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph Wilson, a resident of Mallard Bay in Cambridge; one stepson, Keiford Copper (Alfreda) of Trappe; six sisters-in-law, Annie Wilson, Velma Young of Trappe, Shirley Brooks of Philadelphia, Pa., Corrine Brown of Federalsburg and Sadie Warner, a resident of Chesapeake Woods in Cambridge, and Mary Etta Conway of McDaniel; eight brothers--in-law, Maurice Young of Trappe, James Bailey of Easton, Lenny Conway of McDaniel, Issac Copper, Leroy Copper, Philip Copper, Michael Copper and Mark Copper; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Lois Jean Wilson; two sons-in-law, Larenzo Edward Turner and Leroy Wilson; four brothers, Martin Wilson, Raymond Wilson, William Wilson and Clarence Wilson; one sister, Mary Bailey; one stepson, Bernard Copper and two nephews, Tyrone Wilson and Walter Wilson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Scotts United Methodist Church in Trappe.

Arrangements were handled by the Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
