CAMBRIDGE - James Robert Worrell, Jr. departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at Dorchester General Hospital Cambridge, Md. He was the son of the late James Robert Worrell, Sr. and Olivia Stokes in Portsmouth, Va. He was better known as "World". He moved to Cambridge, at a very early age, were he met the love of his life, Edna Pinder of sixty one years who is deceased. "World" worked as a construction back-hoe driver for thirty years, he also worked landscaping for ten years. He was a resident of the Pleasant Day Adult Day Care Center. He is survived by a daughter, Alice Pat Blake of Cambridge; a sister, Lillian Mae Mitchell of Portsmouth,Va.; five grandchildren, Pamela, Abul-Rahim Mahammed, Renita, Alisa (Tynelle) and Novel (Michelle); ten great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends. Services will be held at 1 p.m on Sat., Aug. 24, 2013 at Henry Funeral Home PA., 510 Washington St., Cambridge, with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment in Bethel Cemetery.
