SALISBURY - James Bevans Titus Jr. died Monday, Sept. 3, 2018. Born on a farm in Snow Hill, he was the son of the late James Bevans Titus and Bunie Hill Titus. After graduating high school, he graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors of Arts in Biological Sciences. He was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a civil servant for the Food Safety and Inspection Service for 32 years, prior to his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra Lewis Titus; sons, Joseph and Andrew of Annapolis; brothers, Paul and Danny; and a sister, Bonnie Titus Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Titus Danganan. A celebration of life will be held at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. the following day, Friday, Sept. 14, 2018. Burial will follow after the service at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
