SALISBURY - Jack S. Timmons died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Berlin, he was the son of the late John and Mary Henman Timmons. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for AP Isakson in Salisbury for many years. He later worked for the Worcester County Sanitation Commission, until he retired in 1993. He was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and was Past President of the Tri-State Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by his daughter, Sherrill L. Winchester, of Louisville, Tenn.; two granddaughters, Erin L. White and Kelly L. Broadway; a grandson; two great-grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances S. Timmons; a stepson, Francis M. Dugan; two brothers, William Timmons and Russell Timmons; and a sister, Mary Minnick. A funeral service was held on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. Burial was in Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
