CAMBRIDGE - Inez Erella Farrow, 80, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 at Coastal Hospice in Salisbury.

She was born April 14, 1927 in Taylors Island, daughter of the late William and Vera Cornish.

She was educated in the Taylors Island Public Schools. On July 23, 1949, she married Goldsborough Farrow Sr. who preceded her in death in 1957.

Inez joined Lane"s Methodist Church at an early age where she was an active member of the Loyality Gospel Singers and the Loyalty Club. After marriage, she moved to Cambridge and transferred her membership to St. Luke United Methodist Church. Here she served faithfully as a teacher in the Church School for 45 years, Communion Steward, member of the Worship Committee, United Methodist Women and the founding committee of the Women"s Community Prayer Breakfast.

She retired from Airpax after 20 years of service in 1992.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Cornish (Paulette), Goldsborough Farrow Jr. (Peggy), all of Cambridge and Tyrus Farrow (Niccene), Burtonsville; two stepsons, Paul Hooper and Ellsworth Thompson (East New Market); a sister, Bertha Stanley and a sister in-law, Marion Cornish (both of Baltimore); five grandchildren, Arlinda Cornish, Goldsborough Farrow III, Jonathan Farrow, Tyrus Farrow Jr. and Ayron Farrow; three great-grandchildren, Paula Barnes, Michelle Barnes, and Goldsborough Farrow IV and a number of extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters, three brothers, a son and a granddaughter.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, at St. Luke UM Church, 712 Bradley Ave., Cambridge, with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Lane Cemetery at Taylors Island.

Arrangements are being handled by Henry Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge.
