SALISBURY, Md. - Ide "Dee" Singletary Jr., 68, of Salisbury, died Monday, April 23, 2012, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. Born in East New Market, Md., he was the son of the late Ide, Sr. and Mary Singletary. He retired from Koski Trucking Company in Williamsburg, Md., where he was a forklift operator. He was a member of Victory in Praise Worship Center in Salisbury. His survivors include four sons and two daughters, Dennis Stanley, Ide (Curline) Singletary III, Darryl and Cherylene Singletary, and Michelle (Craig) Engerman, all of Boston, Mass., and Lamont Allen of Dover, Del.; his fiancée, Beatrice Hoy and her children, Edward Harmon, both of Salisbury, Jeffrey Harmon of Virginia Beach, Va., and Pamela Johnson of Millsboro, Del.; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Gilbert (Bertina) of Dover, Del.; and one loving sister, he often referred to as mother, Rev. Anna Mae (Clifton) Dockins of Hebron, Md.; and a host of nieces and nephews. A son, Troy Singletary, and two brothers and eight sisters, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2012, at New Dimensions Family Ministry, 1907 Jersey Road, Salisbury, where friends may call one hour prior to service. Interment will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 30, 2012, at Thompsontown Cemetery near East New Market, Md. Services are entrusted to Jolley Memorial Chapel, Salisbury, Md.
