Iconic Salisbury bowling alley sold

Posted

SALISBURY — Chris Davis, Senior Advisor with SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate recently brokered the sale of Cherokee Lanes in Salisbury. Chris’ client Cherokee Inc. owned and operated the 20 lane bowling alley for the last 27 years before selling to the buyer Southbound Alley LLC, represented by Matthew Trader of Rinnier Development Company. The venue sold for $1.15 million and the new owners have plans for significant future renovations.

The bowling alley will be renamed from Cherokee Lanes to SouthBound Alley, and in mid-2017 owners plan to remodel the facility and add a new full-service restaurant and bar. “I’m excited to see the bowling alley be transformed into a more modern venue,” stated Senior Advisor Chris Davis. “I can’t wait to bring my family there to experience the new environment they are going to create.”
