Grace T. Nichols

SALISBURY - Grace T. Nichols died Monday Sept. 10, 2018, at Salisbury Genesis. Born in Pocomoke City, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Viola Tarr.
She worked many jobs but enjoyed and retired from Wicomico Nursing Home in 1993 as a CNA. She was an active member of the United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Messick of Millsboro) and Wanda Hurley of Salisbury; stepchildren, Raymond Nichols Jr., Jeannie Forbes and Kenny Nichols; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Nichols; a son, Stephen H. Truitt; a stepdaughter, Kathy Gaskill; a brother, Robert Tarr; and sisters, Mary Hudson, Victoria Caldwell, Marion Caldwell and Frances Donahoe.
A graveside service was held Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018, at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
