Glandon E. Davis, 75

DENTON - Glandon E. Davis, of Denton, died Thursday, July 23, 2009, at the Memorial Hospital in Easton. He was 75. Born in Easton, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Leslie Wright Davis and Hazel Matilda Knaack Davis. His wife, Constance Virginia Jones Davis, died Dec. 25, 1995. Mr. Davis had been the receiving manager for Sea Watch International in Easton, retiring in 1996. For the last three years, he has worked at the Easton CITGO Station, thoroughly enjoying the customers. Mr. Davis is survived by his son and his wife, Edward and Robin Davis; a grandson, Ryan W. McAllen; and a special friend, Janet Hutson Councell of Goldsboro. A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second St., Denton, where friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m. before the service. The interment will be in the Greenmount Cemetery, Rt. 404, Hillsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests sending memorial donations to the Arthritis Foundation, 9505 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD 21117. For letters of condolence, go to delmarvaobits.com.
