EASTON - Gerald Wilson Bramble, 74, passed away Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at The Dixon House in Easton where he has made his home for the past five years.

He was born Sept. 9, 1932, in Galestown, son of the late Otis Bramble and Derotha Dunn Bramble.

Mr. Bramble served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by General Motors in Wilmington, Del. and then later for Crown Cork and Seal in Baltimore.

Mr. Bramble is survived by his sister, Anna M. Collison of Rhodesdale; one brother, William Bramble of Cambridge; four nephews, David and Robert Collison of Rhodesdale, Otis Bramble of Reid's Grove, Harry Bramble of Greenville, S.C.; five nieces, Judy Travers of Cambridge, Betty Wheedleton of Easton, Carlene Bramble of Seaford, Joye Lynn Bramble of Pennsylvania and Faye Hatton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one half brother, Joseph Bramble.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service. The Rev. Delmer Willey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Eldorado United Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Dixon House, 108 N. Higgins St., Easton, MD 21601.
