George W. Warfield

HUDSON - George W. Warfield, 65, passed away on Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, at his daughter"s home in Salisbury.

He was born in Baltimore on Jan. 12, 1942, and was a son of the late Joseph R. and Margaret Lanehart Warfield.

Mr. Warfield attended school in Baltimore County. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was employed with Pep-Up in Cambridge until he became ill in early November.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Cambridge Moose Lodge.

He is survived by a daughter, Valerie Chamberlain and husband, Elmer of Salisbury; two brothers, Larry Horton and Eugene Warfield; a sister, Carole Horton and several cousins.

A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. on Thursday, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge, with Rev. J. Edward King officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Maryland Veterans" Cemetery near Hurlock.
