Free diabetes education program starts again Sept. 12 in Princess Anne
WESTOVER — The Somerset County Health Department is offering a free Diabetes Prevention Program to county residents starting Monday, Sept. 12. Educational sessions will be held each Monday at the Princess Anne Library, 11767 Beechwood Street, from 5 to 6 p.m.
The program offers one-on-one and group support with a Certified Lifestyle Coach to lose weight and reduce risk for diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. Participants will learn how to eat better, plan healthy meals, increase physical activity and manage weight loss.
