
Frances Grace Baumgardner Bosley, 99
Frances Grace Baumgardner Bosley of Baltimore County died at Erickson Oak Crest Village, Parkville, MD on May 23, 2021. Mrs. Bosley was 99 years old. She was born in Emmitsburg, Maryland on December 15, 1921. Her father and mother were Raymond Earl Baumgardner and Ethel Grace Grimes Baumgardner.
On October 18, 1942, she married Thomas Edward Bosley who was an industrial engineer at Armco Steel Corporation in Baltimore. They enjoyed a loving marriage lasting almost 60 years.
Mrs. Bosley was a graduate of Saint Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing and worked at various Baltimore hospitals early in her career. She ultimately retired as school nurse and health instructor after holding that position at Towson Catholic High School for over 20 years. In addition to her nursing career, Mrs. Bosley was a Master Gardner and enjoyed this hobby throughout her lifetime at her homes in Baltimore County, Bradenton, Florida and Fishing Creek, Maryland. For many years she served as a volunteer organist at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Golden Hill, Maryland. She also was a member of the choir at her church in Bradenton, Florida.
Mrs. Bosley is survived by her two children, Thomas B. Bosley and his wife May Jo of Fishing Creek, Maryland and William J. Bosley and his wife Beverly of Forest Hill, Maryland, her daughter-in-law, Eileen Bosley of Baltimore County, six grandchildren, Kurt Patrick Bosley, Leila Bosley Gueydan, Marilee Bosley Walter, Jennifer Bosley Reinke, Amanda Bosley Lattimore, Jessica Bosley Savage and eleven great-grandchildren, Thomas, Jackson and Daniel Bosley, Trent Finley, Genevieve Grace Walter, Meghan and Joshua Reinke, Alyssa and Andrew Lattimore, Hunter Savage and Jason Curtis. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas E. Bosley, her son Raymond Lee Bosley and grandsons Thomas Gill Bosley and William James Bosley, Jr.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 2:00PM at Saint John the Evangelist Church Cemetery, 13305 Long Green Pike, Hydes, MD 21082. Social distancing and face coverings will be required. Expressions of sympathy may be made through a memorial offering to Star of the Sea Golden Hill Foundation, c/o Judy Holland, P.O.
