WOODBURY, N.J. - Evelyn Victoria Dawson, 70, passed away on Monday, Sept. 3, 2007 at Underwood Hospital in Woodbury, N.J.

She was born May 9, 1937, daughter of the late James and Francis Copper Perkins of Talbot County.

Evelyn was educated in the Talbot County Public Schools. She worked for various companies within the Maryland–New Jersey area such as the Clam House in Ridgely; J.D. Clothing Factory & Mobil Oil Refinery in Paulsboro, N.J., Nichols" Catering in Woodbury, N.J. and Domestic Engineering of Gibbstown, N.J.

She is survived by her daughters, Glenda Dawson of Easton and Barbara Dawson of Trappe; three sons, Kenneth Dawson Jr. of Jessup, Wayne Dawson of Tampa, Fla. and Larry Dawson of Paulsboro, N.J.; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Beatrice Gibson of Easton and Elva Gibson of Cordova; a brother, Kennard Perkins of Chapel and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, at St. John Holiness Church, 500 Edgewood Ave., Cambridge with a viewing one hour prior to the services. Burial Chapel Cemetery.

Henry Funeral Home, PA in Cambridge is handling the arrangements.
