Salisbury - Evelyn Marie Casagrande died Friday, Dec. 12, 2014. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Virginia Morris. She was a member at Mount Hermon Methodist Church for over 80 years. She worked as a seamstress at several local shirt factories. She married her husband of 35 years, Paul, in 1947. In 1953 she became a stay-at-home mother to her two children. She became a carrier for the Daily Times after her children were older and also driving a school bus for Holloway Transit for a number of years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Paul Casagrande in 1981; and two brothers, Norman Morris and Luther Morris. She is survived by a son, Danny Casagrande of Parsonsburg; daughter, Paula Haltaman of Fort Myers, Fla.; brother, Kenny Morris; a sister, Nancy Olsen; and several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Wednesday at Mount Hermon Methodist Church. Interment followed at Hammond Cemetery on Mount Hermon Road. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
