Ethel A. Albee

CAMBRIDGE - Ethel A. Albee, 87, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007, at the Mallard Bay Care Center in Cambridge.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 15, 1918, and was a daughter of the late Albert and Mable Cherry Ammerman.

Mrs. Albee had worked as a bookkeeper for Lafayette College in Easton, Pa., for a number of years.

Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Albee of Cambridge; two sons, Ned Albee of Lancaster, Pa., and Reed Albee of Nazareth, Pa.; six grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Long Funeral Home in Bethlehem, Pa. Burial will follow at the Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer"s Association, Eastern Shore Chapter, 209 C. Milford St., Salisbury, MD 21804.

Local arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., in Cambridge.
