End of Lent and Easter Services at St. Paul's Episcopal

MARION — St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, located on St. Paul’s Church Road in Marion Station, will be holding the following services during Holy Week, the final week of Lent before Easter.

Palm Sunday is March 20 and the service will be held at 11 a.m. with Holy Communion and distribution of the palm fronds.

Maundy Thursday is March 24 and the service will be held at 6 p.m. with Holy Communion. Immediately following will be an Agape Supper. This is a Christian fellowship meal, derived from Jewish and early church meals such as are referred to by Paul, and they symbolize the unity of fellowship in the love of Christ.

Good Friday is March 25 and the service will be held at 6 p.m. with Holy Communion, which will also include the Stations of the Cross.

Easter Sunday is March 27 and the service will be held at 11 a.m. with Holy Communion. The Rev. Michael Lokey is the presiding priest, all are invited to attend.
