SALISBURY - Elsa Hauswald, died on Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George and Elsa Eggers. She graduated from Hood College in Maryland with a History Degree. She lived in Winter Haven, Fla., where she worked as a social services case manager for the state of Florida. She moved to Salisbury in 2016. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilbur Roberts; and a sister, Anna Roe. She is survived by her husband of 15 years, John Hauswald; two sons, Bill Roberts and Dan Roberts; a daughter, Debbie Corneal; stepsons, John Hauswald, Carl Hauswald, Paul Hauswald and Mark Hauswald; stepdaughters, Linda Weston and Carol Wright; nine step-grandchildren; and 10 step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Monday, Jan. 30, 2017, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
