SALISBURY - Eloise Holland Fisher Cordrey, 86, of Salisbury, died Monday, Jan. 18, 2016. Born in Marion Station, she was the daughter of the late Gertrude and Randolph Holland. She was a lifetime member of the Salisbury Elks 817 Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as a waitress and hostess at Johnny's and Sammy's. She and her previous husband owned and operated a seafood business in Salisbury. She is survived by her children, John F. Recker, Sharon P. Wilson, Julia R. Bryson and Maria M. Recker, all of Salisbury and Eloise G. Lemon of Parsonsburg; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Cordrey; two daughters, Patricia Ann Jackson and Teresa Annice Chaney; a grandson; and brothers Randolph C. Holland Jr. and John D. Holland. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A private inurnment will take place at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar.
