Ella Rae Daly, 83

ROSWELL, GA - Ella Rae Stant Daly, passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2009, after a short illness. She was 83. Mrs. Daly was born in Linwood, Pa., but grew up in Crisfield with her parents Grover Stant and Nina Mae Lawson Stant. They preceded her in death along with her brothers, Robert Eugene Stant and Everett Lawson Stant, both formerly of Crisfield. She retired after 31 years with the Mercantile Bank of Hammond, Ind. Her later years were spent in Florida and Georgia near her children. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Patricia Chicoine, of Roswell, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Sherry Daly, of Tampa, Fla.; granddaughter and husband, Christine and Dean Sever; granddaughter, Meagan Daly, of Tampa, Fla.; and great-granddaughter, Avery Lauren Sever, of Roswell, Ga. Ella Rae joins in heaven her granddaughter, Lauren Daly Moon. The family suggests memorial donations be made in her name to her beloved Asbury Methodist Church, RR 1, Box 231A, Crisfield, MD 21817.
