Ella Blanche Parks Bessette

Ella Blanche Parks Bessette, 86 Ella Blanche Parks Bessette, 86, passed away April 21, 2010. Born in Cambridge, Md., she was the wife of the late Lt. Cmdr. (Ret.) A. Curtis Bessette, and daughter of the late J. Emory and Etta Parks. She is survived by three children, Curtis S. and Michael E. Bessette, and Linda B. VandeVrede; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two siblings, Joan Parks McLean, and John E. Parks. A memorial service was held Friday, April 23, 2010, at the East Greenwich United Methodist Church, East Greenwich, R.I. Burial was in the R.I. Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, R.I. Donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society.
