Edna N. Robinson, 73

WINGATE - Edna N. Robinson, 73, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at the Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge.

She was born in Dorchester County on Nov. 11, 1934, and was a daughter of the late John Lehman and Gladys Marie Bloodsworth Moore.

She attended schools in South Dorchester and graduated from South Dorchester High School. She was married to Irving Matthew Robinson who passed away on May 31, 1979.

Mrs. Robinson had been a homemaker most of her life, and was also a member of Wingate United Methodist Church.

She had been a resident at the Mallard Bay Care Center in Cambridge since Jan. 31 and had been a patient at the Dorchester General Hospital on Saturday afternoon where she passed away on Sunday morning.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda D. Bradford and her husband, Randy Bradford of Cambridge; a son, Ted Robinson and his wife, Karen Robinson of Woolford; a grandson, Jordan Bradford and his wife, Rebecca Bradford of Winchester, Va.; a niece, Debra Willey and her husband, Kevin Willey of Cambridge and several great-nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lowell Thomas Moore Sr. and a nephew Lowell T. Moore Jr.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with the Rev. A. Delmer Willey Jr. and Pastor Sharon Prahl officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during the hour preceding the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wingate United Methodist Church, c/o Clarence Pritchett, 1941 E. Tedious Creek Road, Bishops Head, MD 21672.

Pallbearers will be Jay Robinson, Gillis Todd, William "Snooks" Windsor, Carl Willey, Earl Todd and Charles Hayward. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Willey, Eddie McGlaughlin and Alvin Warfield. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.thomasfuneralhomepa.com
