SALISBURY - Edna Louise Boyce, 91, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, at Anchorage Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born June 11, 1918, in Caroline County near Preston, she was the daughter of the late Levin Harry Majors and Ida Hassett Majors. For many years she worked as a seamstress at local clothing manufacturers. Following her day at the factory, she would then work with her husband on the family farm. Mrs. Boyce was a former member of Wheatley Church in Galestown. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia B. Jones and her husband David of Rhodesdale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Earl Boyce who died in 1987; a daughter, Doris Lee Wainwright; two brothers, Kenneth Majors and Leon Majors; and a sister, Ida Mae Bailey. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 23, at Eldorado Cemetery. The Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market is handling the arrangements.
