MANTUA, N.J. - E. Audrey Smedley (Harlos) passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016. Audrey was originally from Audubon, N.J., she lived the last two years in Mantua, N.J., formerly of Pine Hill and Crisfield, Md. Through her love for cats, she was a founder of SAWS (Somerset Animal Welfare Society) in Maryland. She is survived by her husband for almost 70 years, William L. Smedley; son, John C. Smedley and his wife, Kathy; daughter, Janet Gonzales and husband, Rem; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Committal service for the family will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Camden County Veterans Cemetery, 1640 Haddon Ave., Camden, N.J., 08103.
