SALISBURY -- Dorris D. Kelley, 86, of Salisbury, died Sept. 1, 2015, at Chesapeake Cottage where she resided for one week. She was the daughter of the late John Davis and Viola Disharoon Davis Elliott. She resided at Lakeside Assisted Living for several years. She retired from Wicomico County Board of Education as the secretary to the superintendent for 30 years. She was a member of the Jr. Wicomico Women's Club, PRMC Junior Board, the Town and Country Garden Club and she served as a Sunday school teacher. She is survived by her children, Grayson, Dee and Michael Kelley and Tracey Price; daughter-in-law, Vanessa Kelley; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Vaughn and Louis Davis; and two nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Grayson Kelley of 45 years in 1993; a sister, Ruth Parkett and an older brother, Benjamin Davis. A memorial service was held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
