HURLOCK - Doris Virginia Larrimore, 79, died near Choptank at the home of her son, Woodrow H. Larrimore on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006.
She was born on Aug. 18, 1927, in Downingtown, Pa., the daughter of the late Victor George Pepper and Alma Jean Roe Pepper. Her husband, Woodrow O. Larrimore preceded her in death on May 24, 1997.
She graduated in 1944 from Ridgely High School. During her life she worked for the former Caroline Poultry, owned and operated the Highway Restaurant in Federalsburg and also managed the Village Inn.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 243 in Hurlock.
Mrs. Larrimore is survived by her daughter, D. Linda Mills and her husband, Larry, of Hurlock, and two sons, Woodrow Larrimore and his wife, Carolyn of Preston and John E. Larrimore and his wife, Deborah of Hurlock; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Donald Pepper of Denton and Vaughn Pepper of Pikesville and nine nieces and nephews.
A sister, Sue Henry preceded her in death.
Funeral services for her will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Federalsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
