SALISBURY - Doris Nock died on Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Mamaroneck, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Schor. She moved to the Eastern Shore as a child with her family. She worked as a nurse at Peninsula Regional Medical Center until she retired, and then was a volunteer for many years. She was devoted to her church, where she played piano and organ and taught Sunday school for many years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Edward Nock, Sr.; three sons, James Edward Nock, Jr., Thomas Charles Nock, Sr. and Robert M. Nock; daughter, Carolyn A. Craft; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Fruitland Christian Church, 605 St. Luke's Road, Fruitland. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
