SALISBURY - Doris Dashiell Muir died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at Wicomico Nursing Home. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Dashiell. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Until her retirement, she worked as a Sales Clerk at Sears. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Muir, in 1994. She is survived by her son, Gary V. Muir, of Salisbury; daughter, Susan M. Ilari, of Herndon, Va.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Interment was in Wicomico Memorial Park.
