Donald Wilkins, 68 POWELLVILLE - Donald Wallace "Duck" Wilkins died Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore. Born and raised in Powellville, he was the son of the late Wallace Monroe Wilkins and Elwyn Mildred Rayne Wilkins. He recently retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration after 46 years of service as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Jane Justice Wilkins; his children, Michelle L. Klimasewski and Chad E. Wilkins; a sister, Anna Mae Yeadt; two brothers, Herman Claude and George Wilkins; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Patsy White; and twin brother, Ronald. A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021, at noon at Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until noon. Interment will follow in Powellville Cemetery.
