Dianne Elizabeth Hill, 70
CRISFIELD - Dianne Elizabeth Hill passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the home of her son.
Born in Crisfield on February 15, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Edwin "Teddy String Bean" and Mary Virginia Thomas Landon. Her husband, John Richard Hill, Sr. preceded her in death on October 22, 2017.
She was a retired nursing aid at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.
Dianne lived life to the fullest and was always smiling and laughing. She loved everyone and made a friend everywhere she went. She enjoyed going to the beach, playing BINGO, riding on the golf cart, and sitting on her porch. She loved her family very much and her kids and grandkids were her world.
She is survived by her children, Johnny Richard Hill, Jr. of Crisfield, Bobby Lee Hill and wife Jennifer of Salisbury, and Angela Insley and wife Amber of Crisfield; siblings, Thomas Landon, James "Jimmy" Landon and wife Pat, Edwin "String Bean" Landon and wife Judy, Cindy Landon and Virginia "Ginger" Perez; grandchildren, Morgan Hill, Hannah Hill, Hailey Owens, Makenzie Hill, Paxton Insley, Kadence Insley, and a grandson on the way, Preston Insley; in-laws, Ozzie Hill and wife Mary Kay, Danny Hill, Cindy Marshall, Betty Marsh and husband Kevin, and Nancy Martin and husband Chuck; special friend, Elsie Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dwight Landon; and brothers-in-law, Phil Marshall and John Perez.
Funeral services at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home were held on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 1 p.m. where a viewing was one hour prior to the service. Rev. Robert Daniels officiated and interment was in St. Paul's Cemetery.
