Born in Seaford, DE on November 5, 1964; departed this life on January 25, 2025. He is survived by his wife Marie Butler, daughter Jessica Griffin, mother Irma Jean Owens and a host of family and friends. Derrick was employed 28 years at Eagle Group, Smyrna, DE. He was loved by all who met him.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11am on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Evan W. Smith Funeral Services, 518 S. Bay Rd., Dover, DE 19901.
